David has been very active in the Canadian and International finance business for more than 40 years, both as a partner with one of Canada’s largest law firms and as Chairman and a senior officer of public and private corporations serving
the Canadian and International markets. He also serves as a director of a number public and private business engaged in other businesses.
David holds a law degree from Osgoode Hall Law School and the designation of Chartered Director granted by McMaster’s DeGroote School of Business.
Chief Executive Officer
Andy has been active in Canadian consumer finance for over 20 years. During this time, he has worked actively with all of the major financial banks, consumer lenders and insurance companies in Canada. For 8 years he held the role of
President, CEO and founding shareholder of the largest Canadian purchaser of bank assets, a company he later sold to the largest European Public Company in the field. Prior to Andy’s focus in the Canadian financial services sector,
he was the founding partner of a mid-sized law firm that specialized in work with SME companies.
Andy holds both Business and Law degrees from McGill University.
Co-Founder & President
As president of the company, Scott is responsible for all operating activities of the business and serves on the company’s Investment and Strategic Planning committees. Prior to the founding of Canaccede in 2008, Scott held progressively
senior roles in the financial services industry notably leading the Canadian financial services practice of Equifax Canada and as a senior member of the management team of Assante Asset Management responsible for consolidating the
platform acquisitions of the company, prior to its sale to CI Investments. He was a founding member of the Canadian Receivables Management Association which has become the leading Association advocating the interests of the Receivable
Scott holds a B.A. from Western University.
Co-Founder and General Counsel
Suzanne has 30 years of experience in corporate and business law as a Lawyer, Partner and General Counsel for private law firms and public companies. Since 2005, she has held leadership positions at Aktiv Kapital Canada and its predecessor
Portfolio Management Group, including General Counsel, Vice President Strategy and Corporate Counsel, Vice President Operations and Vice-President Human Resources.
Suzanne holds a law degree from Laval University.
Chief Treasury and Business Development Officer
As a founder of Canaccede and the head of Corporate Development, Bryan is responsible for building and managing strategic investments for the business, with a special emphasis on complex cross-enterprise transactions. He has 15 years
of experience in risk, credit, and investment analysis, having actively working with all major Canadian banks and lending institutions. Before Canaccede, he worked in various roles in commercial lending at TD Bank.
Bryan has a BA (Hons) and MA degrees in Economics from Western University and an MBA with distinction from the Richard Ivey School of Business.
Chief Technology Officer
Paul is a seasoned executive with a successful track record of over 25 years of business development, delivery and implementation of large scale, complex and high-risk technology initiatives in Financial Services, Insurance, Telecom
and other industries and has extensive international experience. For over 10 years at The Nielsen Company as VP Corporate Platforms Architecture & Operations and later as Head of Solution Architecture for Global Business Services he
provided oversight of Finance, HP and Customer management platforms in over 100 countries. Paul also spent more than a decade at CIBC Lending, Mortgages and Insurance as the Chief Architect and Senior Director IT Operations. Paul had
also previously held senior technology positions at Fidelity Information as Head of Solution Architecture – Chief Architect.
Paul is a graduate of the PPA Program - Bachelor of Political Science and Business Administration from York University.
Chief Commercial Officer
Starting as Chief Marketing Officer and now, as Chief Commercial Officer at Canaccede Financial Group, Mark oversees revenue generation, agency and delinquency management, and marketing. Mark has over 25 years of experience in marketing,
brand management, operational leadership and executive advisory roles. Most notably, he has held senior positions as Chief Marketing Officer and later, Executive Vice President, General Manager at SHOP.CA, Cara Operations, as Vice
President of Marketing and Business Development, Rogers Wireless, Telus and led advertising development for numerous businesses at ad agencies, Taxi and Young & Rubicam.
Mark has a BA (Hons) from Queen's University.
Chief Risk Officer
Dan has been involved in the Canadian and International Consumer Finance business for more the 40 years. Dan spend close to 40 years with a major Canadian Consumer Finance Company in both Operations and Credit Risk. Dan spent close to 20 years as Chief Risk Officer with oversight for the Canadian business and three years supporting a Puerto Rico operation. Throughout his career Dan has received numerous recognitions and in 2011 was awarded the Outstanding Lifetime Achievement Award and out of more than 7000 employees, was presented a Mentor Award. “Successful is the person who leaved the world better then they found it, who never fails to look for the best in others or give the best of themselves"

Martin is the Managing Partner of Alinea Holdings. Prior to starting Alinea, he was Chief Executive Officer of Chase Card Services Canada. Prior to joining J. P. Morgan Chase, Martin served as Consumer Credit Executive for Bank of America
where he had oversight for unsecured lending businesses in the U.S, U.K and Canada. He also spent more than a decade at MBNA Corporation where he was a Senior Executive Vice President and a member of the Corporation’s Global Senior
Operating Committee. Martin has a deep background in Corporate Governance, having served as Board Chair of MasterCard Canada, Ashbury College and Habitat for Humanity NCR. He has also served on the Board of the Ottawa Hospital where
he was Treasurer and Chair of the Resource committee.
Martin is a graduate of McGill University.
W. James (Jim) Westlake

Jim is President and CEO of Tennant and Guild Investments, a private company focused on making investments in, and providing strategic counsel to businesses across a number of industries. Jim, who retired from Royal Bank of Canada in
2012 after 17 years, held a number of senior executive roles in the financial services industry, including head of the RBC’s Canadian retail, commercial banking and wealth management businesses. Most recently, he was head of International
Banking and Insurance for RBC. From 2000 until 2012, he also served as a member of the bank’s group executive which is responsible for setting the overall strategic direction of RBC. Prior to joining RBC, Jim spent 19 years with the
Metropolitan Life Insurance Company, most recently as chief operating officer for the company’s Canadian operations.
Jim has held numerous professional and community leadership roles including, Chair of the Canadian Chamber of Commerce and Chair of the Canadian Bankers Association, Director of the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario, Chairman of Ottawa Ronald McDonald House, and Campaign Chair for the United Way of Peel Region. Jim is currently a member of the Board of Directors of PeeksSocial, is on several advisory boards for companies his is invested in and Chairs the Canadian Paralympic Foundation Board.
Jim has an MBA from Queen’s University.
